Sarah & Travis, Bow New Hampshire
Sarah & Travis are wonderful people. They are very loving. They are the ideal Quirky couple for an offbeat wedding photographer whose company motto is “Show Me The Love”. When I asked them to “show affection”, it wasn't hard for them to show emotion. Sarah also happens to be a shy and private person. When I arrived at their home at Bow, NH to take her “getting ready” pictures, she was not there. She was getting ready at a different location a few miles away. Quickly, I asked Travis to phone to ask her If she needed me to go there. Instantly she said, “No thanks, you can photograph me when I get there”. This gave me time to hang around the groom, which, I usually don’t get a chance to. Travis is a physical therapist for a local chiropractor who happens to be good friends with his employer. He is so close with him that he asked his boss to be his JP. The couple live on a property owned by Sarah’s dad, a beautiful 20 acre lot. It is here that wedding magic began with their backyard, landscaped walkways made to resemble church aisles. With sunlight streaming through tree branches and the nature all around us, it was here they promised themselves to each other. The couple wore vintage attire with Travis wearing suspenders and bow tie and Sarah wearing a lace beige dress. After the ceremony, I took them through the field photographing them amongst artistic softness of the afternoon light. Hats off to Henry David Thoreau and his masterpiece “Walden”.
